Information you give us. When you complete a consultation request form we collect your first name and your mobile number, together with your consent to be contacted. If you go on to book an appointment through our online calendar, that booking service may also collect your email address and any details you choose to add.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you visit, how long you spend on them, and the website or advertisement that brought you here.
We do not ask for medical or dental history through this website. Please do not send clinical details or health information through the website forms.
When you submit a consultation form you are agreeing that we may contact you by telephone or text message about that request. You can withdraw that consent at any time by replying STOP to a text message, or by telephoning or emailing us using the details above.
We use cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary for the website to function. Others help us measure performance and advertising.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. You can also manage advertising preferences directly with Meta through your Facebook or Instagram account settings, and opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
We do use service providers who process information on our behalf, including our online booking provider, our website host, and the analytics and advertising platforms named above. Some of these providers are located outside Canada, which means your information may be processed in another country and be subject to the laws of that country.
We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law.
We keep consultation enquiries for as long as needed to respond to you and to meet our record-keeping and legal obligations, after which they are securely deleted. Patient clinical records, once you become a patient of the practice, are held separately under the record-keeping rules that apply to dental practices in Ontario, and are not governed by this website policy.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Under Canadian privacy law you may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, ask for a copy of it, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, and ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. You may also withdraw your consent to being contacted. Contact us using the details above and we will respond within a reasonable time.
If you are not satisfied with our response you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information through it from anyone under the age of majority without the involvement of a parent or guardian.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
