Common questions

Is composite bonding reversible?

In most cases, yes. Composite is added to the surface of the tooth rather than cutting healthy structure away, so it can usually be adjusted or removed later. We talk through what applies to you at the consultation.

Will it actually look natural?

That is the entire point. Colour, translucency, and texture are built in layers so the work sits with the teeth around it. If it looks like dental work, we have not done our job.

Does it hurt?

For most conservative bonding there is little or no drilling, so many patients need no freezing at all. Comfort is part of how we plan every appointment.

How long does it take?

Many cases are completed in one or two visits. More involved work is staged, so you always see and approve the plan before we commit to it.

What happens at the first appointment?

We talk. You tell us what you notice and what you would change, we give you an honest view, and you leave with a plan. Nothing is treated on the day.

What does the consultation cost?

Nothing. The consultation is complimentary and there is no charge on the day. If you decide to go ahead, we talk through treatment costs and payment options then.
